Picture This Photography

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a photographer.
I'm also a perfectionist.

As a kid, whenever I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I never hesitated to say, "a mother". When my first son was born, I wanted to preserve every memory of his every stage. I was shutter happy! I was also guilty of developing two rolls of film a week. I needed an excuse to go to the photo store, so I became a photographer.

Four years later, I am still aiming for perfection. Each image gets my full attention. And I proof in person, so that I can watch the excitement on a mother's face when she views her images. It makes it so worth it! Because I know the feeling.

Unfortunately, when I take out my camera these days, my son runs ... fast... But that's okay. Because every once in a while, there's a mother somewhere showing off pictures of her little angel. And I'm proud to have a part in it.
